Call for Satellites
Propose a satellite symposium at NetSci 2027 in Dresden. Deadline: 15 November 2026.
What is a satellite?
Satellites are community-organised, half-day or full-day symposia on a focused topic in network science, held alongside the main conference. They are a chance to bring together a community around an emerging question, method, or application.
How to submit a proposal
Send a single PDF that includes:
- A descriptive title
- A short summary of the topic, its aims, and expected outcomes
- Names, affiliations, and email addresses of all organisers
- Preferred format (half or full day) and planned structure
- Preliminary list of confirmed or invited speakers
Email your proposal to satellites.netsci@tu-dresden.de.
Selection criteria
Proposals are evaluated by the Satellite Committee on:
- Scientific quality and relevance to network science
- Feasibility of the proposed program
- Diversity and inclusivity of organizers, speakers, and topics
Organiser responsibilities
Organisers of accepted satellites manage their speakers, finalise their program, handle communication with participants, and follow the conference deadlines.
